The Beara Way Cycling Route is a National Cycling Route, it covers a lot of authentic West Cork country roads. The route travels along the entire Beara Peninsula passing through all the picturesque towns and villages along the way. The entire route is 183 kilometres however with no start or finish you can feel free to join the route in any town and village on the Peninsula. Beara’s roads have played host to An Post Rebel Tour and An Post Rás this year and in previous years.
The route is clearly sign-posted with a logo and a bicycle symbol. The extensive choice of routes available will suit all abilities from rugged mountain passes to meandering valleys and endless country roads to speed along with the crashing of the Atlantic Ocean and chatter of wildlife in your ears, cycling in Beara provides a memorable experience and hopefully you will tell all who will listen about the beautiful Peninsula of Beara!
